It is the policy of the Athens-Clarke County Police Department to objectively investigate all formal complaints filed against agency employees, and to take whatever actions may be necessary and appropriate to correct any deficiencies found as a result of such an investigation. Further, it is the policy of the department to afford each employee and complainant due process during each phase of an investigation.
